Dear Colleagues and Friends:

Welcome to the 3rd Annual Great Lakes Translational Glycomics Symposium. The Translational Glycomics Center (TGC) at Versiti’s Blood Research Institute, is pleased to host this event each year. This event wouldn’t be possible without our sponsors and donors.

The goal of our symposium and poster session each year is to bring together the glycomics community for a day of exciting science and great discussion. These events will be held at the Blood Research Institute (BRI) which, is a state-of-the-art facility that gives investigators access to cutting-edge research equipment and related specialized services. The BRI is located on the campus of the Milwaukee Regional Medical Center, along with the Froedtert Hospital, Medical College of Wisconsin, and Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin.

I would also like to welcome you to Milwaukee. It’s a great place to start a business, raise a family, and enjoy the arts and outdoors. I encourage you to explore the many ways to get to know our city. Watch a Brewers baseball game, go to any of the wonderful festivals, or enjoy the shops and restaurants in our bustling downtown. No matter what you choose, I know you will enjoy your time in Milwaukee.

Again, welcome to the 2020 Great Lakes Translational Glycomics Symposium!
